Use it and Return it ?

My husband bought me a portable heater. I took it to work yesterday and was so excited that finally I have a heater. But unfortunately, when I turned it on, nothing happened. Yes, the heater is not good. So I shoot a very short e-mail to my husband telling him that the heater is not working and also asked him if he still have the receipt. I am glad that we still have the receipt. We are going to have it exchanged. I really don't like returning things that I bought unless it's not working. I actually bought two pairs of shoes that I ended up giving to friends because it does not fit me. ( I order it online ). Some people will use the the merchandise they bought and then returned it and get their money back. I think that is not fair. It is like you're stealing!


I actually have a friend who told me that he mother in law, likes to buy expensive purses and dresses, use it at the very special occasion and then return it and get a refund after the event. What a shame! I think she really need to be very careful not to spill her drinks into her lovely dress.. ha ha ha .
