We're Going to The Fair

Tomorrow , we will be getting up so early. My husband and I are going to the Minnesota State Fair. They said this is one of the biggest state fair in the US. ( we'll see ) . I have not been to the fair yet, so this will be my first time. Todd and I are planning to leave the house around 5:15 a.m. Yes it's very early. Saturday is supposed to be my sleep in day, but not tomorrow. I am not really sure what to expect , but one thing I know for sure, I am going to eat as much as I can LOL . Whew, that's a long title. Ha ha ha. Well as I was driving home from work today. Someone on a pick up truck was really on my tail. It was not a busy road since I was using the back road or short cut road from home to work . That road is single lane traffic and lots of curves. Beautiful Flowers

Lilies, Daisy and white roses are my favorite flowers. When we finally buy a house next year ( God willing ) I will definitely plant lots of flowers in our front yard and will have a vegetable garden at the back yard. My taste bud is bitter

Sunday evening was the first time that I took my medicine for my stomach infection. I picked up my prescription on Saturday evening before my husband and I went bowling. But I just put it in my husband's truck. I purposely leave it there so I that I have an excuse not to take it. I was trying to be sneaky, but I am just kidding myself. If I wanted to be healed from whatever I am having now , I really need to take my medicines. The thing is , I hate taking medicines, even aspirin or ibuprofen ( aspirin gives me hives ) Now my husband is making sure that I am taking these capsules everyday until it's gone. Taking 8 capsules a day is not a fun thing to do. And right now, these medicines are making my tastebud really bitter and it normally last a couple of hours.

Bowling

It's past 11 pm and I am still awake. My husband and I just got home from the get together of the company ( actually just the Chemistry and RPS department ) where he works. It's fun to go out and met people sometime.There's a lot of people and that was just 2 departments. There's plenty of food and drinks as well as plenty of team bowling events. Our team didn't win even once though. But I am sure everybody had fun and I think that is the most important thing.

And while we're bowling the TV was showing the Minnesota Twins and the Vikings game ( they lost though :(. My husband told me, that it's hard to concentrate on bowling while watching the Twins game LOL .

I badly need a vacation

Ever since we arrived here in Minnesota, I felt so depressed. Not only that I lost interest of doing the things I love to do like going to the gym. I have been sick often since we got here. My doctor told me to start looking for friends and go out, which my husband and I did last night. He also told me to stop worrying about things like the winter. Yes, the thought of the winter here in Minnesota scares me.

My husband thinks I really need a vacation. And I agree with him. Although we are just new here in Minnesota, I really need a little change of environment.I do love to travel. Heart Attack at Church

I have never seen someone having a heart attack. But as we are about to start our worship service at church this morning, one of our visitor was has having a heart attack. Then all of a sudden one of the older man said" Is there a doctor in here, I am not feeling well and I am having a hard time breathing". I thought he was just joking. But then he said it again. My doctor's visit today was done early than I expected. So I got plenty of time before going to the DVM. Busy Wednesday

Hello Folks,I hope everyone had a nice Wednesday. Mine was okay, but it was long and busy. I did a lot of running around today. Got up at as early as 5 a.m. leave the house around 6:10 a.m. I have an appointment at the dealership at 7:00 am to fix the scratch in the car. What happened was when I parked the car last Wednesday, I hit the cement column on the basement garage. ( I blamed my husband for parking too close to my space . I think we, women always blame our husband or boyfriend when we did something wrong ? ) Then at 10 a.m. was my doctor's appointment. Remember that acid reflux I felt like more than a month ago? I finally see a doctor today. And after my doctor's appointment I went to the DMV to take knowledge test to have my driver's license transferred here in Minnesota. Yes I went to all these places today by myself for the first time. And I am still not familiar with the places here. I am just glad that I didn't got lost!

This morning one of the customer asked me to do something for him. He's got some freight that needed to be picked up @ New Jersey. So I typed in " Mali yong pag send ko he he he " And hit send. And guess what, I send it to the customer. .. Oh geezzzz, So I send him an e-mail explaining what I just did . And then he came back to me " What language was that"? ( They both have the same first 3 letters on their names )

I was watching some videos on youtube on the 2008 Olympic Opening Cerenomy. I was able to watch a very awesome gymnasts display. The rendition was pretty amazing. As I tried to replay it, the video was gone, due to a copyright claim by a third party. Oh well.

I love my Windows Vista

While my husband was deployed in the Middle East, all of a sudden our computer at home stops working. We were using Windows XP that time. I really can't figure what was wrong with it. But I really need a computer at home right away. I ordered one on the phone since I cannot order it online. ( I have no computer ). I got my order in 3 days and was so excited about it because I can now connect the world. And my new computer comes with a Windows Vista operating system.

I told my husband that I got the new computer with Windows Vista OS and he told me that he heard some bad reviews about it. And I told him, PLEASE DO NOT BELIEVE them I am loving this thing! And when he came home and use it, he told me I am right. The look of Windows Vista is so much better compared to the old operating system. And it very easy to use.I really love it.

It's Weekend Again!!!

Wow, did you notice how fast time flies? I can't believe we're almost on the " BER months" not beer , okay. :))

Weekend is here again that means I can stay up really late and sleep in a little longer tomorrow but not until 10 a.m. We will have a breakfast at church tomorrow,but I can't go. Somebody will deliver the rest of the furniture that we bought back in June . We've been waiting for this for almost 2 months now.

By the way, I would like to share some pictures taken last Tuesday during the Night Out get together ( there's police officer and firemen during that time ) . They just wanted to let us know that they are there ready to help us when we need them .

A few months ago, someone was using my husband's debit card to purchase a vacation package online for almost $3,000.00. We called the bank and thankfully the money was returned. I told him to check his credit too because we never know if someone was already stealing his identity. What he did was sign up at free credit report.com. Since it says that we are entitled to a free credit report once a year. So, I said okay. Then when I check his bank there is a debit of $ 14.95 from this company and they're doing it monthly. Wow, just read this article that this company uses a a fake person to do their commercial. I mean, why would a company promoting ID theft protection fake an Identity? There must be some really good reason behind it. And by way, I don't believe there is such free credit report.

Just like Bob Sullivan mentioned as a consumer we really to take time to read the disclosure notice that we received from the mail. I have this habit of just shredding it right away not even opening the letter. I really make sure I shred the paper especially a credit card offer and not just throw it at the garbage can. If someone can get a hold of that little piece of paper, then our identity could be in jeopardy.

Oh , thank God it's Friday! I am so looking forward for the weekend. I am so excited because I can sleep in a little longer tomorrow. Five o'clock a.m. comes so quick.
