Call me " Old Lady"

I would like to start my post by thanking God for keeping me and my husband safe today. Lord, thank you so much!

Driving home from work today was very challenging. I think it snowed since 8:30 this morning and even when I was driving home it was still snowing. Although I have been here in the US for almost 6 years, this is the first time that I am actually living in a place where winter can be harsh. Yes, we live in South Carolina for about 5 years and never experienced a real winter there.

It took me an hour and half to get home this afternoon. I normally leave work at 3:30 pm , but I believe I did not leave until 3:40 because I still have to clean the windshield and the back window and make sure the headlights and tail lights are not covered with snow. I just want people to see me he he he. I listened to the radio as I was driving home and oh boy, from the time I left work until I turned the engine off, I heard there were 4 roll overs and many spin outs blocking the roads and ramps . There are many scary drivers out here. They know that the roads are very slippery and yet they still want to drive 70 mph. There's this one girl following too close to me and I think she was expecting me to move to the other lane. I said to myself, "Hey, I am already in the slow lane, if you wanted to fly go ahead and oh I don't mind if you call me " old lady " . Yes she was such in a hurry while the rest of the people are driving carefully. My husband once told me, if you wanted to be old, when the weather is not so good, drive like an old person and don't mind if other drivers will call you old!
