Sunset Test

You probably noticed that I love the SUN. Yes wether it's sunrise or sunset. It's just amazing. Well, I was kind of bored today. So I went to the blogthings and see what's new in there and I found this SUNSET TEST . Among the many sunsets in there, this is the most that I liked.

You want to be generous and warm-hearted toward others. Life is hard enough as is. You believe life is mostly about how you treat other people. What kind of person you are matters.

Getting Over Hurt

I am sure all of us have been hurt by someone, whether it's a friend, a neighbor , former classmates , spouse , etc. How do you get over that hurt?

Here are some suggestions, first is we have to Forgive. Why?

1. God has forgiven us - When we feel forgiven , it is easy to forgive. If we find it hard to forgive others, we should think of how God has forgiven us.

2 . Resentment Does Not Work - Resentment can make us ill, emotionally. It actually hurts us more than the person than the other person.

3. We'll Need Forgiveness in the Future- " But if you do not forgive, neither your Father in Heaven forgive your trespasses " . Mark 11:26 . God forgives us when forgive others.

How to Get Over a Hurt?

1. Never Retaliate ! - Never tried to get even, leave everything to God and He will handle it for you.

2. Deal with it Immediately- If we hold on to it, it will turn to anger, and resentment. Anger or grudge can steal the joy of our lives. Don't let that happen. And if we claim to be a Christian, how can we say we love God when we hate our brethren ?

3. Forgive them whether they ask or not - God forgives us in advance , we should forgive the people who hurt us whether they ask or not. Don't just say "forget it". Say " I forgive you"

4. Do good to them - I really like the passage on Luke 6:27-28 " But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, Bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you". I know this is not an easy thing to do, loving our enemies is not easy, praying for those people who uses us is very hard as well. But you know what? " I can do all things through Christs who strengthens me ".

Happy Birthday to you my Hubby

Today is my husband's birthday. He's turning 44 years young today. He's celebrating his birthday at work , yes he is working overtime today. Supposed to be for 12 hours but since it's his birthday he requested to do just an 8 hours instead of 12. We will be going to the Twins cities tonight to watch a game.

While he's at work I was busy wrapping my birthday presents for him. He gave me a Birthday wish lists,which make life easier. I bought some of them but not everything. Of course I wanted to give him something that he wasn't expecting he he he . Aside from the presents that I am giving to my husband I also wrote this short poem for him .

I thank the Lord,
for the beauty of His blessings;
Not because He blessed me with something,
But because He gave me someone wonderful,
Someone to love and to care for.



I thank the Lord,
for the beauty of Life;
Not because of what I see in my eyes,
But because of what I feel in my heart,
which is full of YOU.

On Entrecard's Top Droppers

I have several friends whom I know drop EC to this blog everyday, but when I was about to post about my top 25 droppers for the month of January, I didn't see their names on my top droppers. I was just wondering how Entrecard determined the top 10 droppers? Is it determined by the time it was being dropped? I live in in a central time zone, and I noticed that by 11 pm my time, the number of EC I dropped changed to zero. That means I can drop another card for the next day.

Windmill on the Hill and Basketball Daily are normally first two droppers almost everyday. And I know they both drop 31 EC for the month of January , but both of their blogs are not on my top 25 droppers.

I am really sad that Windmill on the Hill did not make into my top 25 list for the month of January. You may wonder why I feel sad, first of all he never missed to visit my drop EC on my blog everyday. Windy is my number one fan.
