For the first time since November , we finally able to see our temperature reached to 50. What a beautiful day we had today. Everybody in this State is very excited and happy about the weather . I can't wait to see the grass and trees turning their colors from brown to green. I never thought Minnesota has a very long winter. I remember when we were still living in South Carolina ,starting February the trees and flowers start to bud. While here in MN , we still got snow on the ground. What a big difference of the weather.
We really have a weird weather here. A few days ago we just had a very temperature and then now it's 50 .. yay! Although it started to warm up, a lot of people here were telling me that winter is not over yet. But I believe the cold snap was gone, we probably still get some snow but probably no more below zero temperatures. Hopefully! Below is how our weather looks like in the next four days :) Very Nice, except Wednesday, our low is about 25 , but still that is a very nice temperature compared to the one we had last Wednesday.

I just got home from church and hour and half ago ( Wednesday midweek worship service ) . After church , I went to put gas on the car. Usually it's my husband who puts gas on the car, but since he's working 12 hours /day. I am doing it myself. He's tired and exhausted when he gets home so I don't want to ask him to bring the car to the gas station to gas up.
I would start to freak out, when I only have a quarter of tank . LOL . I just don't want to ran out of gas especially with this weather we have now. My husband and I met up at church and after the service, I told my him that I need to put gas and he said to just wait until we get home and he''ll take the car to the gas station . I said, okay and as I was following him , I went ahead to the gas station instead.
So I got out of the car and put gas . I did not wear any gloves or scarf or hat, just a jacket. I didn't realized how cold it is until my right hand becomes numb that I didn't even finish filling up the tank. I was only able to put like 6 gal. I used my right hand to hold the nozzle and after I fill up my tank, I can't feel anything. When I turn the engine on, I see that the temperature was ONE BELOW ( -1 ) , with a wind chill of about minus 15. I have to sit in the car for a few minutes before I started driving again because I was scared that I might not be able to maneuver the car because of my frozen fingers/hand. Until now, ( after an hour and half ) both my little and my ring fingers are still a little bit numb. What I did was crazy. I could have lost my hands/fingers for a frost bite? I really don't like wearing gloves or hats, but I guess I have no choice now :(
Good morning everyone and Happy Weekend!
It's Saturday and I woke up early. I think I had enough sleep. I went to bed around 9 last night and get up at 7am. Not too bad! I usually stay up late on Friday evenings to chat with my family but last night I did not. I went to bed early instead. I have some reasons, he he he . My husband is working 12 hours/day 6 days a week since Monday.He goes to bed early and get up early. So if I stayed up until 1 or 2 am, I might disturb him .
The reason why I am up early is because I am going to the post office to apply for my US passport. Yes I am a U S citizen now and I am excited to vote for the next election, ( if there's still any election in the US ). The post office is only open until 12 noon every Saturday so I need to be there before they close and I need to be home before 12 noon today LOL.Why? The Minnesota Twins Tickets will go on sale today @ 12 noon and last night my husband reminds me over and over again to make sure we get a ticket for the Twins on their last game ( regular season ) at the Metrodome.
