When my husband is home, we usually do our grocery shopping every other weekend. When it's just me, I just do it once a month. We normally don't buy stuff in bulk because like I said it's me and him. But now , I think buying grocery in bulk is a good idea especially that the prices of all commodities are skyrocketed. We always go to the commissary for our grocery because it's cheaper than Wal mart or any other grocery stores nearby. But lately , I have noticed that the price of a 20 lbs rice ( I always buy 20 lbs of Jasmine Rice ) have gone up from $ 8.00 to to about $ 11.00. Pretty big change ha.
When the oil prices will rise up , everything follows. We use oil to transport everything. The prices of eggs, cereals, flour, even fruits and vegetables. My husband even joked from work , we just stayed home and eat just once a day. I told him , I can't do that ! lol
As we are going to buy groceries today, we are going to buy canned vegetables, fruits, canned foods , rice and some other foods in bulk .
